“Every child, every chance, every day.”

Edgmond Hall 2016

Tuesday 27th September

Starting our first morning with some very tired faces already. Miss Kelly's group will be attempting the Long Mynd walk today, whilst Mrs Roberts and Mr Corbett's group are village reporters. After last night's orienteering activity, Mr Dowen's group should be experts when they tackle the sport again, in the woods. Later on this afternoon they will be cooking using home-grown produce that they will have picked themselves, in the garden.

Wednesday 28th September

We have all had an action packed day today. Mr Corbett and Mrs Roberts have taken their group on the all-day hike. Mr Dowen's group have been around Edgmond village, this morning and made nests this afternoon. Miss Kelly's group took on the orienteering challenge and baked pizzas. This evening should be fun, as we are all looking forward to the Edgmond camp fire, to have a good old sing.

Thursday 29th September

After a fantastic action packed few days I have now returned to school and Mrs O'Neill has taken over in my place.  I am pleased to say that the children are all having a wonderful time. They have been taking part in some really exciting and challenging activities and have tried really hard. Our walk up the Long Mynd was certainly hard work but we all made it and enjoyed ourselves splashing around in a stream at the end. I have thoroughly enjoyed myself with the children and have eaten far too much.

The children will be back tomorrow at 2pm and should be collected then.  Over the next few days I will try to add some photos here so that you can see exactly what we have been doing.
