As a Church of England school Holy Trinity promotes the five fundamental British values to reflect life in modern Britain.
These values are;
Democracy,
Rule of Law,
Mutual Respect,
Individual Liberty
and Tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs.
Fundamental British Values underpin what it is to be a citizen in a modern and diverse Britain valuing our community and celebrating the diversity of the UK.
Fundamental British Values are not exclusive to being British and are shared by other democratic countries as a way of creating an orderly society, where individual members can feel safe, valued and can contribute for the good of themselves and others.
British Values are taught explicitly through our PSHE curriculum and discussed through our use of Picture News fortnightly, pupils have the opportunity to access these resources again and reflect on them through Google Classrooms. They are also upheld by our school vision and Christian Values in our daily practices and school policies.
