Home Learning Resources

Below are some helpful documents to help you create a bit of order to your day whilst school is closed.  The Bingo board matches our normal timetable at school.  Children can choose one activity from each column every day to make sure they practice skills in all of the curriculum areas.  The other resources are activities we have listed on the board.  We will add another board on each week school is closed (which hopefully wont mean many).

Supporting your child with Maths at home!

We understand if some of you are not sure how to best help your children at home with maths!  We only know because it's our job to!  And maths, even in year two, can get quite complicated.  In case you would like some help, I have uploaded a powerpoint presentation that shows you exactly how we were teaching your child to add, subtract, multiply and divide.  As always if you need any help with anything please contact your class teachers!

Happy Summer Term!

We hope you are keeping well and we are missing you guys SO MUCH!!

We've put together a timetable with some activities you can do each day to help with your learning at home.  We will update this each Monday.  The activities mainly use Bug club, White Rose Maths and BBC Bitesize.  All of the links you need are on the planning!  If you need any help at all please email your child's class teacher!  Don't forget we are here to help!  We'd love to see any great work you do at home and we will be giving star of the week certificates out on Friday!

KS1 SATs

In May, children will be sitting their SATs tests.  They will have a Spelling, Grammar and Puntuation paper, two reading papers and two maths papers.

We don't want children to worry about these tests and we are calling them "quizzes".  If you wanted to do any practice with your child at home there are copies of past years papers that are available to look at and practice with.

We have put these papers below for you to look at.  For guidance and marking schemes etc you can go to the gov.uk website (click the picture below to take you to these extra resources)
