Song of the week - Baby beluga!
Have a go at leaning this weeks song of the week with the sing up team! There is a link which will take you to extra activities where you can learn more information about the fascinating beluga whales!
Home Learning Activities
Please find available packs/activities that you can do with your child/ren during the period of the school closure. I have also attached the homework packs that were sent out the beginning of this week (Week beginning 16.03.2020) for those who were unable to attend Nursery. These activities are based around the story we have been learning this half term, which is: 'The Enormous Turnip'.
Don't worry if you are unable to print out the sheets. The sheets can be used as a guideline to support you with activities you can do with your child. Work can be done in your child's homework book if you choose.
If you are registered on tapestry - continue to upload home learning you do with your child.
I hope these are useful and keep you busy.

Busy things is an interactive program that children can access to help them with their learning based on the 7 areas of the EYFS curriculum. A log in to this interactive program has been stuck in the back or front of your child's reading record.

White Rose - Maths Learning
Not sure if any of you saw the white rose home learning link go live yesterday. There are 5 video lessons with questions and answers to match for each year group. They will release another 5 next week.
Here is the link if you would like to have a look . https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/
Today would have been our Easter service in church, so I've updated the CW section of the website with some thoughts/ activities/ songs/ prayers that children can join in with at home if they want to.
I have added some work/activities based on the story we would be doing if we were at school which is:
'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'.
We touched on this story last year, so for some children it should be familiar. Remember if you can't print them out - do not worry, just encourage your child to complete the activity either in their homework book or on a paper.
Remember to upload any work you do with your child at home.
I have added the story for you to read with your child.
Challenge: Encourage your child to practice this story - see if they can learn it all the way through and like we would do at school - see if you can record a video of them retelling the story and upload it on Tapestry. I would love to see this!!
We have now signed up to Readingwise! Hopefully you all got an email of your child's log in details. This will help towards their phonics in getting them to practice recognising sounds and blending which is the early stage of learning to read.
